Training for Swim Officials
Anyone interested in becoming a swim official this year MUST attend TCAL OFFICIALS CLASS on May 23rd from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM at Groveport Community Center
This will be the only class offered to the league.
The first 2 hours of class will be designed for new officials who are not certified by any recognized governing body ( NCAA, USA, YMCA, OHSAA).
The last 45 minutes will be for those who want to learn about starting and refereeing. All attendees are welcome to stay. If you have been a starter or referee in TCAL (and plan on doing it this year) but are not certified you need to attend the last 45 minutes of class. If you are a certified stroke and turn judge only (USA and YMCA level I) and will be a referee or a starter you need to attend the last 45 minutes of the class.
