The purpose of the Canal Winchester Joint Recreation District is to administer programs, which provide athletic and recreational opportunities for the welfare and physical development of the residents of the Canal Winchester School District as well as those of the Village of Canal Winchester. The District is to promote the concept of sportsmanship and develop sportsmanlike attitudes toward competition.
