CODE OF ETHICS |
All participants in our
program, must abide by our code of ethics. When you sign up for a
sport you and your child will be given a set of these ethics and
will sign that you will abide by them. Canal Winchester Joint
Recreation District mission is to provide a safe and positive sports
environment for everyone, from children to officials and parents.
Please help us and remember this code while attending all Canal
Winchester Joint Recreation Events.
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PERSONS INVOLVED IN OR ATTENDING JOINT
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
1. No foul language or obscene gestures.
2. No physical or mental abuse.
3. No alcohol or other drugs.
4. No tobacco use by coaches, officials, or players during scheduled
practices or games on the playing fields, and by Board members at
meetings.
5. No team member shall use tobacco, alcohol, or drugs. They will be
removed from the team.
6. Individuals held responsible for any damage to equipment or
property.
7. Proper apparel worn to all practices and games.
8. Address officials by appropriate titles.
9. Address coaches by appropriate titles.
10. Display Sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
First violation is a one-week suspension from the program. Second
violation is suspension from ALL recreation activities for ONE YEAR.
